Louisiana Landmarks grants 2022–2023 Awards in Architectural Excellence—on Wed., May 24, 5:30 p.m., at the Marigny Opera House.

New Orleans, April 20, 2022:  Louisiana Landmarks Society is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022–2023 Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation. The Awards honor projects completed in Orleans Parish in 2022 that represent outstanding examples of interior preservation, new construction, restoration, and/or rehabilitation in an historic district.

This year, Louisiana Landmarks Society will present awards to a total of fifteen projects. See the announcement in today’s Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, which includes a partial list of winners.

In addition, Landmarks board member Theodore (“Teddy”) Pierre will receive a special award in recognition of his work in masonry restoration and preservation.

The 2022–2023 Awards for Excellence in Historic Preservation will be presented at a reception at the Marigny Opera House, 725 St. Ferdinand Street, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 5:30–7:30 p.m.
