As the historic Pitot House enters its 225th year, the Board of Directors of Louisiana Landmarks Society is announcing the launch of a capital campaign to restore and refresh this grande dame gracing the banks of Bayou St. John.
A recent community grant providing to Louisiana Landmarks Society has officially launched our campaign. Your support for the c. 1799 Pitot House Museum is now needed for critical woodwork repairs, a full restoration of the upper gallery and overall exterior painting including shutters, windows, and porches with an estimated cost of $200,000.
We hope we can count on your support for capital improvements of the Pitot House. Our success is only made possible by generous and thoughtful donors like you!
