A consortium was tapped to redevelop the former Charity Hospital, marking another step in the process of repurposing the iconic art deco building where many New Orleanians began their lives. According to City Business, "The LSU Charity Hospital Redevelopment Project Management Committee is recommending 1532 Tulane Partners as the team to negotiate with. It is made up of the U.S. branch of El-Ad Holdings, an Israel-based real estate development company, and CCNO Development, a developer-builder based in New Orleans."
