  • The Pitot House Pieux Fence is in need of some TLC. We are reaching out to the community who love this house and appreciate what we here at Louisiana Landmarks Society are doing as its steward.

If you have a little time to donate to our cause, we'd love to see you here on Wednesday, March 15 (rain date is the next day: March 16) to help us lime wash the fence. There will be 2 shifts - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 12:00 -3:00 PM, and we will provide light refreshments. Please come in painting attire and we will provide all other material.

In our efforts to maintain the authenticity of this historic home, we hope continue this day dedicated to our fence annually. It will be a delightful day to volunteer, and we hope to see you on the lawn!
